Hmmmm....the manual didn't mention that (the manual is kind of vague
and doesn't say much in regards to custom settings). It just mentions how to change modes by holding and releasing the mute button, but doesn't say anything about turning off X band entirely; I currently have it in "L" mode (Advanced Logic), but that still picks up X band (if the computer thinks it's legit)...but NO police use X band any more in my area. I will try this though. Thank you.
