Would anyone know, would my oil filled eccentric shaft sensor cause my exhaust system to be quieter and a whiny noise to come from the engine bay? I noticed a few days ago that my exhaust sound is making a lot less noise (i have a muffler delete so it is decently loud), it just seems quieter (almost silent) at lower rpm, and higher pitched with a whiny noise coming from the engine bay. Is it the sensor or another issue? And could the whiny noise always have been there, just not as noticeable because my exhaust was toning it out?
