If I may ask why did you even bother going with vtt in the first place after having a bunch of guys infront of you have similar issues. Did you honestly think that it wasn't going to happen to you, or you're some kind of exception?
Your best bet now honestly is take the 50% refund and file a dispute with your credit card company saying the seller refuses to warranty his own product even after you are willing to send it back for credit.
