Sweet. You're all set. Just download V2 and unpack it. Click on the vmx file and that will open vmware workstation. Specify you have "copied it" when asked.
When connecting your cable, you have to allow your vm to use it. So plug it in while the vm is running for getting a popup asking you what to do.
