Long story short, my hand is hurt and I can't do them myself so I asked for help ( they do free installation at every autozone) everything was going great, until the guy removed the blade from the passenger side, and bamm the wiper arm slammed into the windshield, and made quiet the deep crack and a few more cracks.
I felt bad for the guy as he was new, nonetheless he said he had to report it to his manager. I actually was gonna let it slide to not get this kid in trouble on his 4th day, but if I recall replacing a windshield is a little expensive.
My question is, has anyone ever gone through this? How does it work or how long does this process take?

My question is, the impact really that strong? A wiper arm did it? I get rocks hitting my windshield at 70+ mph in the freeway numerous time and never made any cracks. How old is your windshield?
