If you look at the light pipe it's amazing that amount of light gets through, how it winds around like a big fiber optic in a way. Very happy so far, now will put them in my wife's 09' Z4.

Could you send me a picture of what you mean about the wires being brittle? I have never seen this before so i'm curious as to what you mean.
