I did the same. Ran GPS, AUX and USB exactly the same like you. AUX and USB aren't connected yet because I haven't done the Combox retrofit yet. I also have the phone cradle that wanted to use for video streaming but Aus335iguy showed us an alternative so I won't pursue phone cradle installation I think. |
The way i did it was that i hijacked the analogue video input into the CIC. In order to screen cast i go into the multimedia section, select the snap in. I have an old iPhone plugged in. I navigate to the videos section and select a random video to play. I play that. The cic thinks its getting the video from the phone. The audio(and control messages) go via the USB into the combox then to cic. Its crude but its cheap and it works. That means you'll need the blue USB port on your combox connected to an iPhone for my method to work.
