The Non ZSP airbag is shaped differently so it may require a new mounting plate. Plus since he needs new buttons, I'd imagine he's going to need the new plate to secure the bottons.

But it doesnt hold the airbag unit in place. I assumed he was talking about the front faceplate.
I have not seen the backplate for the non-sport wheel, so I couldnt tell you about that... You will need to get new buttons...
