I've found new adaptive headlight assemblies for the e90 lci for around $650. I had to replace a headlight when I got into a fender bender a while back, and I found that hella makes one. I purchased that and it's been working perfectly over the last two years. Also, I've noticed that the outer halo ring on the hella unit seems to light up better than the oem unit. I know age has part to do with that, and you can tell the oem headlight is slightly more yellow than the new one, but I can't recall ever seeing the oem light that bright on the outer ring with led angel eye bulbs.
