What about the harmonic balancer. I know you have a few miles in the car, is it still original?
Be careful pulling vacuum lines at random. You can break all the little plastic nipples they are on. They should not be easy to pull off if they are original.
At this mileage, you need to do a lot of preventive maintenance, refresh items. Start with CBU. Battery, harmonic balancer, all the fluids and filters. All the vacuum lines. Knocking could also be caused by a bad injector.
