recommendations as far as what tracks or where to sign up for track events?
There are many organizations that organize track days at tracks all over california, from button willow all the way to laguna seca. You can check there sites for there full schedule.
Some that come to mind are, Redline Track Events, Speedventures, NASA. I know there is quite a few that im missing but these are the ones off the top of my head. You can also just sign up for BMW CCA because they hold there own track days as well.
