An old comparison of tire size and wheel weight on an E90. All set ups appear to be square and use Yokohama S.drive tires. There are some typos with the tire sizes in the body but the sizes in the attached image should be accurate.
I also indexed the load ratings and tire pressures and they are similar so the comparison should be fair:
- 205/55R16 91W SL @ 29/32 PSI = 1135/1224 lbs, 48/52%
- 225/45R17 91Y SL @ 29/32 PSI = 1135/1224 lbs, 48/52%
- 225/40R18 92Y XL @ 33/36 PSI = 1157/1235 lbs, 48/52%
