I can vouch for Bavarian Performance in Winchester, myself, parents and grandparents have all used them.
However they would be #2 behind my preferred shop of choice being German Performance Service out of Alston, which sounds like it would be a hop skip and a jump for you in Somerville. They've been super honest with me and talked me out of services at times, despite losing money on their end. Always seem to have some fun/exotic European (mostly German) cars in the shop whenever I stop by which further makes me feel confident.
