Just completed the install. Not as easy as it might be.

One tip: The 'splice' holds the green and white wire very LOOSELY! The power was disconnecting intermittently after install. To solve this problem, I SOLDERED it to the green and white wire.

I opened the splice, pulled out the aluminum piece that grabs the wire, then attached it to the wire (after stripping some insulation) by soldering it in place. I then put the aluminum piece back into the blue splice housing.

This takes some care so you don't burn anything with the soldering iron.

A 2 hr job for me, including scratching my head and thinking about some solutions to the loose connection. (one last thing, I wrapped a piece of rag around the black connector to keep it from rattling around)
