It has very little to do with Horner's (love-soap) affair.
MAX is already thinking about the new PU regulations in 2026.
Regarding the HP output ,they already know : The 2026 Mercedes PU will be extremely strong and that Horner's Ford PU will not be strong enough to beat Mercedes in 2026.
This means : There's a big chance that the Red Bull Team will fall apart in 2026 (!)
Horner's fault by thinking about his own pockets ...
Horner made 2 big mistakes :
1- Let Honda go (the triple World Champion engine)
2- Developing his own Red Bull PU in collaboration with Ford (Red Bull-Ford Powertrains)
