Responding to an old post because I tried taking HMB for a ~6 months after reading your suggestion. Didn't feel like it did much so I stopped taking it. After a month or two of feeling like I was not able to perform like I had been, the only change I could think of was discontinuing HMB. Ordered some more and back to taking 4 grams per day (2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, both mixed with a protein shake).
DANG! Almost immediate difference. Need to put this one on a subscription because it really makes a difference for me.
