I was skeptical about the poplar with the saddle at first as well but when I saw it, it appealed to me. Although it may not be evident in the pics, this "light" poplar is actually pretty dark (much darker than the light poplar I had in my X5) so I thought it worked with the saddle pretty well. Piano black was my other choice but I don't think I could have ordered that with the car being in the states. I don't really like the metal trims as they just seem cheaper to me and "colder" than the wood.

And yeah, there's something about a Barbera Red coupe that really works well with the M6 wheels. I think these wheels look more natural on my car than they do on an M6!
