Our hotel (Fairmont Copley Plaza) was at a very convenient location right across from the public library and within walking distance to the "T", Newbury St, Boylston St, the Prudential Center, etc. Heck, we even walked to the North End from our hotel once. I thought I would list some of these places to add to this thread for future visitors to the city.
BTW, the food in Boston was excellent!!!
