Pretty sure OP is specifically talking about a E90 323, which is pretty identical to an e90 328, but with a smaller engine (2.5L vs. 3.0L)
As an owner of a e90 323, having driven my friends' e90/e92 325/328s, and shotgun in a 335, I'd say most comments above are relevant.
Obviously up to OP's preference, but just thought I'd clarify.
