Basic suspension info request
Hi, I'm new to this forum and unsure how to post an undoubtedly basic question on suspension so I'm hoping someone on this thread can help. I have an '07 E90 318i SE. N/S rear suspension spring was cracked. I sourced replacement used springs from a vehicle of similar age. Was advised by seller they were compatible. Only when changing broken spring did I realise the existing one was stamped "C2" and the replacement was "C1". Although it fits fine and subsequently passed the MOT can I assume there's a slight difference in the coil diameter as I didn't have any means to accurately measure? My question is; Should I swap the other spring for the "C1" and would it alter the handling if I didn't? (I've driven it for a couple of days and there's no noticeable difference).
