I'm surprised that people order a car then agree part ex later - surely the p/x is part of the deal and they are more likely to offer you better part ex to get the initial deal? Maybe just me but I thought that's how it 'works'.

I would've thought if you have a contract with a price on it that's the price you pay - if the dealer made an error or missed things off originally that shouldn't be your issue.

As per Rocketron - a lot more than 3% should now be available on these so IMHO the dealer should absorb this as their error - threaten to walk and you want your deposit back because they've broken the contract.
