do you know what they did and did they backup anything before they monkeyed with it?
my best guess is they've dicked up the VO coding, and now your car doesn't think it has cruise control anymore.
Did they save a copy of your factory VO code before they changed it? like copy/paste into a text file?
did you have the RDC module disconnected when you attempted the coding?
