You people CRACK. ME. UP.

You all realize that the term 'supercar' is a target that moves nearly every year -- and it's a term that means almost nothing now? In fact, it's been superseded by another term: hypercar.

All 'supercar' means nowadays is something that has high performance limits and that contains state-of-the-art go-fast technology. 'State-of-the-art' does NOT mean 'fastest' or 'lightest' or 'mostest horsepowers! Unnnnh!'. It means the cutting edge. And I'm sorry to those who want an ICE-only super-duper-hyper-mega anything: the state-of-the-art is electricity in the powertrain. Even Ferrari, Porsche, and Bugatti (among others) see this.

In 2018, the only companies building so-called 'supercars' without electrified powertrains are the ones that can't afford it. What does that tell you?
