I hate religion its a load of bollox. We had a non religious wedding ceremony and both our children had 'naming' ceremonies not chrsitenings. THese concentrated on celebrating our love for our children, and were wonderful days.
IMO you should make up a poem or short passage of text about love, life, family and freindship and it'd mean a lot more than just reading an outdated pack of lies.
