The road where I work on my car (at the end of our cul-de-sac) is very rough. The trolley jack can not move easily when I'm lifting or lowering the car and it even caused some damage when I lowered the car quickly.

I can't see any ready-made mats on Google. So I'm thinking I should make one my self. Doesn't have to be big. Maybe 2x4 foot should be enough. I'm thinking softer bottom layer to absorb the unevenness and hard top layer so the trolley can move freely. Any suggestions what materials I could use and where to get them?
