It's sort of tricky, you need to unsnap the panel, then slide it towards the front of the car to pull it out. But first, you need to remove the trim on the door and take out the two long torx screws holding the panel to the car. Takes a lot of maneuvering, but it came out perfectly.
Speaker removal from that point is self explanatory - three torx screws holding in the 4" mid, and the tweeter is removed by twisting it counter clockwise |

I am struggling with the same part. I have the top part off, but its stuck in the middle where the leather arm rest meets the rest of the trim... Can I take the top part off only?
