Your process is fine but more than likely you are going to have imperfections. I took delivery of my 335i and I asked them not to prep it, and they did anyway. When I finally got, it looked good and then I got it home and washed it with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss. The wash revealed swirls and scratches and a very dull surface. You will need a good polish. I hope you have a PC to help out.
