That's a long wire loom to replace all over. You're going to have to dig into the dash to get there. I'm not up for it, easier to cut the tips you need and wire them to DC power from fuse box. You can tidy up to make it look OE. Still won't have to cut into OE on the car if you just transplant the 6 pin to 12 pin plug.

You're definitely right, that is what I'm going to do. I've got the switch and power/ground wire transferred to the bottom of the 12 pin already. All that is left is transferring the 6 pin and running the power/ground today.
