Yeah, these trip reports are a bit out of the ordinary--but it's all related to
using our BMWs and the fun you can have discovering forgotten old places. My 335i is incredibly flexible, from the usual blasting down 2-lane roads to trundling around in 1st gear looking for a side road that may not even exist any more. My Z4 roadster was also great at this sort of thing.
For the Pine Barrens, however, a tall X3 or X5 would have been even more perfect!
