I, too, think it's way too early to worry about a face lift of the E90 assuming BMW would stick to its traditions. However, I think (and correct me if I'm wrong) the E92 differs much more from the E90 than the E46 coupe differs from the sedan. This means that BMW is already deviating from tradition, so who knows exactly what they'll do when it comes to face lift.
