You are the lucky one! Most people have the opposite problem with the dash pinging up tyre pressure warnings all the time.
Perhaps if you are new to the car the TPMS has been coded to "off" by the previous owner. You only need a drop of a couple of psi on one wheel for the warning to trigger.
