FAT32 has a single file limit of 4GB and volume limit of 2TB. There is no reason to use NTFS, you don't need file permission or journaling...

Tried formatting it and although I used the Mac Utility once I inserted the USB into the center console it didn't work. Don't know what I did wrong. Decided to take one of the BMW's into the dealership and they did it -- although it took a day for them to be convinced it was needed.
Definitely works though. The Sirius APP now shows the station and the song and even the data for the commercials shows. Wish I had done this sooner. Unless I can figure out the DIY download process I'll take the other BMW in next week.
