Hard to say from a distance, without seeing what the problem is. But likely your trans needs service, not a tune. I'm assuming you have a 335d? Normally they deal rather fine with tunes. At least stay on the stock level of operation.
Only reason could be that your engine tuner has messed up the torque curves significantly. If that's not the case, you likely have to service the mechatronic.
