Did mine, HF kit with the BMW adapters. Took me 5 hours start to finish, used (1 ) 25# box of shells. I think I could cut 1.5 hours off next time.

They were dirty, very, very, super, ugly, dirty. Had it at the dealers 4 times in the last 6 months for surging, bucking, hesitating, poor acceleration. Got the deer in the headlight look every time! Car is a 2009 335i with 50K on it. The black box was a bit hard to get off, just tapped in a small screw driver under the catch to open a small gap and it slid right off. I used 4 inch wide gorilla tape to cover the unused ports. I left the car in neutral with the handbrake on. I pulled the solinoid connector on the starter, and shorted it out to bump the motor to go to the next valve. I did install new intakes gaskets as I had them, no real need though as they still looked great and had decent spring to them.

Results, OMG. Perfect, cold, hot, no matter, smooooooth acceleration! I am very happy!
