Aftermarket back up camera stumper
I have one of the Eonon (chinese) radios in my car, which has a dual can bus box that communicates with the cars computer to keep some of the car's functions such as steering wheels controls. Works and sounds great, other than the BMW assist SOS error. I just installed an aftermarket back up camera. The camera works fine until after the car is started and the SOS error happens...then the camera image gets scrambled. Does anyone know why this happens? Can I run a fiber loop to bypass the SOS error? Or must I get rid of the error by disabling the BMW assist in the Carly app? And can I ONLY disable the BMW assist without loosing any other ?
