I bought a 2012 E91 LCI 328i xDrive Touring two weeks ago. It was one of the last units to roll off the line (produced 4/2012).
The car has 6MT and I've been reading a lot about the supposed benefits of the CDV modify/delete. Two questions:
1) I've seen it mentioned in some posts that the M3 CDV doesn't have a restrictor, so a delete/modify has no benefit. Is this true?
2) Oddly, when I looked on RealOEM.com for the part # of the CDV for my E91 LCI 328i xDrive Touring, it turned out to be the same as the M3! Why?
If you search by part number 21522283914, you'll see that this restrictor-less CDV is shared by the M3, the F12 650i/M6 and the E91 xDrive!!! No other non-M 3-series model uses this CDV. Here's the RealOEM search results:

Do you think this is a simple data-entry error on RealOEM.com, or is there a valid reason for my xDrive wagon to use the same restrictor-less CDV as the M3? Is there any point for me to attempt a CDV modify/delete?
