I did this mod on my 07 n54. Best mod to date!!! Well it comes in close. Lol
I just punched out the center of my oem one and everything works like stock but better.
The transition when shifting is crazy smooth as compared to before. There is no need to buy another one...this is a straight forward mod and relatively easy.
