Audi and some others have DCT AWD so there's that, but correct, for BMW there's no easy way to make a DCT xDrive mechanically (interfaces, bearing situation, etc) but also would be not that easy to make it work from a mechatronic (electronic, software) point of view with the controllers.
Btw, how does xDrive use it's own specific transmission? Afaik it's just the tailhousing that's different between RWD and AWD AT6 and MT6 variants.
