I have a set of 17" winter wheels and tires from my '03 530i. They are ASA wheels with a 18mm offset and won't, therefore, fit my e92 with the 36+mm offset. Can I simply buy some 18mm spacer and longer bolts and use these wheels? Obviously, they will need to fit the rotors, wheel wells, etc. But, if I can save the $2500 that the dealer wants for RFT winter tires and wheels...
