Former E93 owner. I've never understood why people with convertibles add subs. You will lose most of the audio quality when the top is down. When the top is up, I can only imagine the amount of rattle emanating from the trunk. Dynamat would be your friend here.

To answer your question, yes; you can get a sub in there as long as the sub requires a small/sealed box. Just my opinion, doesn't mean it's right, that's a lot of work for very little pay off.

Have you explored under the seat options?
