Note the run-flat shod 335i is exactly 10 seconds slower than the Porsche 911 GT3 with its stock Pilot Sport Cups (r-comp). So if I stuck Rcomps on my stock 335i, I could keep up with a GT3 on its Rcomps?!?! woohooo! |
Car and Driver did a tst years ago. with the same car - with R tires the times were at leas t4 sec on a one minute course. I admit times will vary according to car, track and conditions. but of all the mods, tires will make the biggest difference.
