They should be anxious to get rid of it. They've been paying inventory tax on the car for quite a while. I'd see what a used model with 500 miles shows for value and start there for an offer. They can always say no, but I'd start the convo off by reiterating that you're about to make an offer on a 2-year-old car. I bought my '08 E92 M3 new back in '09 for $20k off of sticker! They couldn't sell it with the economy the way it was, and I told them to call me if they're ready to sell it. They had the car for over 18 months. I got a call to come and get it. I was actually called a liar by multiple people on this board when I posted what happened, as if I was trying to gain some sort of message board cred. LOL
All they can do is say no.
