Do you have a software tuner on board yet? I'm assuming you are going to need someone to program the test car at least. Will it be up to the end user to source a tune or you plan to bundle an ecu tune with the turbo as an option? I can understand if you don't want to reveal too much of your business plan at this point, just curious.
I can see this going one of two ways. 1) You just release the turbos and let the aftermarket figure out how to tune it. Most big tuners would probably develop an N55 "big turbo" off the shelf tune. 2) You partner with a tuner and give them first crack at developing the tune and sell it bundled with the hardware.
I for one would be more inclined to drop $8,000+ on a complete engine package (turbo, diverter valve, software, intercooler, downpipe, exhaust, etc.) than spending $4,000 on a turbo alone.
