If they hack Google and get the database of *every* Nest thermostat that's ever reported back, they could filter that and get a list of every thermostat that's been in eco mode since x date, and refine that to their local town.

I'm not talking them hacking the individual thermostats, I'm talking able them hack "home" where all Nests report back to.
