that's a huge generalization to make "no chinese I talk to likes kobe." How many is that? Are they generally white washed ABC's? I don't know if I'm surrounded by more "chinese" than you there but I'm quite certain there's about an 8 to 2 Kobe/laker to Lebron/Heats ratio going on where I am right now. Have you ever even been to HK? Seen any extremely large posters of Kobe plastered all over this small city of ours? Do you see how often Kobe tours china and asian countries compared to Lebron? Dude, you don't have to win for people to like you. As long as you are marketed as the best player in the world, a bandwagon will surface.
