Thanks for the generous seeders out there, mad props.
Burned and installed correctly the first time using a Mac.
Followed the normal steps outlined in this thread using the Disk Utility app. Simply unzipped the iso, opened the app, selected File then Open Disk Image, selected the unzipped iso, which immediately showed up on the left hand pane. Clicked on it, clicked burn, and burned it @ 8x (max and default speed).
Put my key into the car, which started up the iDrive, ejected my old NAV DVD. iDrive screen came up with a "Please insert Navigational DVD" screen. Inserted newly burned DVD, and screen popped up saying it found the new DVD and to turn off and reboot the system in 5 minutes.
Used a Verbatim 8x DVD-R I had lying around...
