I’m in exactly the same situation; BMW quoting approx £370 (as far as I remember) – excluding roadside assistance and with £100 XS (comprehensive component cover).
Warrantywise match price, but include roadside assistance AND premature wear and tear to items like clutch. They pay up to £200/hr labour so OK with BMW-garage maintenance.
