I think you are right. RealOEM shows 2 options. 296 x 10 and 300 x 20
for higher load applications. I expect that the Australian 320i only had the
296 x 10 disks. I would look at a brake upgrade if keeping the car. I think Stuart
from BMR makes a good point about replacing disks and pads. I would not buy them from a BMW dealer though as they will cost twice as much.
