If you are not under warranty, just put the JB4 in pass through mode (map 0) and go to a 3rd party shop that services BMWs.
If you still want to remove the JB4, just reverse the directions - unplug the JB4 from the various sensors and plug the sensors back in to the stock harness. I never locked the doors and waited for the ECU to go sleep. However, it takes 10 mins to remove all the stuff to enable access to the sensors anyway.
