That's why when you use stats, you have to make sure they're valid. Was my car unreliable? You bet, couldn't drive it for 6 mos. thanks to BMW. After a PUMA case? It's now been 20 mos. where it's been reliable. True, the overall avg. will never be positive, because it's like being a baseball player and striking out an entire season. But when you look at the car post-PUMA, seems nearly 100% reliable. It's always been a question of BMW's reluctance to fix anything. once you force them to, the car is as good as anybody else's.
